Strong profit dynamics – above-average growth. The Bossard Group has markedly increased its results in the first half of 2017. Compared to the first half of 2016, net income rose an impressive 44.7 percent to CHF 45.3 million. This includes an extraordinary income of CHF 4.5 million net. Consolidated sales rose by 15 percent to CHF 395.1 million. The acquisition strategy also contributed to this growth. Without takeovers sales grew a solid 9.5 percent to CHF 376.1 million. Soaring sales and profits in the first half of the year is yet another confirmation of our profit-oriented growth strategy. Bossard made gains in all market regions, most of all in the America business.

Bossard and Aero-Space Southwest Inc. were one of the preferred suppliers at this year’s Flex Global Supplier Summit in Milpitas in the heart of Silicon Valley. This award recognizes outstanding performance, strategic value-add, excellent service, innovation and collaboration.

Continued strong performance. The business performance of the Bossard Group is considerably stronger than early-year expectations. High sales growth continued in all market regions after the first quarter 2017. This positive trend will yield an above-average mid-year profit.

On April 25, 2017, Bossard moved its main Chinese operational unit from the Wai Gao Qiao Free Trade Zone to the Xin Zhuang Industrial Zone.

Milpitas, CA - Bossard Americas proudly opened the doors to the Bossard Design Center (BDC) in Milpitas, California. This facility is the first of its kind and as a result has been highly anticipated by suppliers and customers alike.

Bossard’s engineering calculators are now available for iOS and Android. The calculators simplify conversions, aid in calculating fastener dimensions and compute torque and preload for the correct assembly of joints.
