Supplier Award for Bossard Taiwan

In November 2016, SRAM awarded Bossard Taiwan the “Partner in Quality” award and, at the same time, promoted us to a platinum supplier. 

Bossard Taiwan is the only fastener company who received this recognition. As a platinum supplier, Bossard will be their partner of choice as they develop new products. The award was given to us by Jeffry J. Winterkorn, VP of Global Manufacturing. Over the course of the year, Bossard Taiwan delivered over 300 items and more than 32 million pieces with only 7 DPPM (defective parts per million). 

SRAM Corporation is a privately owned bicycle component manufacturer based in Chicago, Illinois, United States. The company was founded in 1987 and is known for producing cycling components. Some parts, such as grip shifters, DoubleTap, dedicated 1x11 mountain and road drivetrains, and the only available wireless electronic group set, SRAM Red eTap, are developed internally. Manufactured primarily in-house, in factories located in Portugal, Taiwan, China, and the U.S., the components are globally distributed as original equipment manufacturer (OEM) equipment and aftermarket components in high-end markets.
