General Information

3D CAD files
RMS supports the following file formats: .sat, .sab, .stp, .step. For a successful RMS calculation, the uploaded 3D files must show no damage and must be drawn accurately.

Technical documents
Production drawings or other relevant documents can be added as additional information in PDF format in the calculation process. The technical drawing must match the 3D file and the defined parameters. Additional requirements contained in the drawing are taken into account for production. Significant deviations or other additional requirements can affect the production and the calculated price.

Bossard works with selected, qualified manufacturers. The focus is on high and continuous quality, at the right time, and at fair costs. All manufacturers are continuously subjected to strict quality checks and the required quality is ensured by regular audits.

RoHS conformity
The materials and coatings listed in RMS are compliant with ISO 3613 (2010/12)
In case of special materials and coatings defined by the customer, deviating from the existing selection in RMS, the RoHs conformity of the defined product must be requested by the customer and the possibility needs to be checked by Bossard. For more information download the following document.

REACH declaration obligation
Lead can be contained as a component in materials, which means that from a concentration of more than 0.1% there is a "REACH declaration obligation". These materials or coatings are marked as "REACH declaration obligation". In case of special materials and coatings defined by the customer, deviating from the existing selection in RMS, the REACH obligation of the defined product must be requested by the customer and the possibility needs to be checked by Bossard. Delivery date
Delivery date can be selected as Express or Standard. The delivery time may vary depending on the requirements of the product and its manufacture, as well as the choice of material, surface treatment, and finishing. Additional costs will be incurred for Express delivery.

Packing
Standard packaging includes safe packaging for transport in blisters, boxes, bags, or similar packaging, depending on the product and its requirements, and choice of the manufacturer. Bulk packaging is also an option. Bulk materials are loose and bulk packed; accordingly all coatings and treatments are treated as bulk materials not tie up parts. Special packaging requirements must be checked and assessed accordingly.

Shipping
Small parcels are sent by parcel service or courier. For shipments >40 kg we use selected shipping partners. The shipping terms agreed with Bossard apply.

Material certificate
The acceptance test certificate according EN 10204 3.1 on the raw material.

Initial sample report
The initial sample report is prepared in accordance to VDA with 5 measured and documented parts. If the order quantity is <5 pieces, all parts will be measured.

Further test documents and qualitative requirements can be requested. They will be checked and assessed accordingly.
